Prayer for Personality

Our Father,

Giver of the invaluable gift of my personality, help me realize that my personality – which is different from that of every other creature in Your vast kingdom – is the outward expression of my soul, of my true self.

Help me to know that there is no inequality in personality, that my personality has the same value, the same potential worth, the same eternal promise of development as every soul, at any time, anywhere within Your great cosmic plan.

Help me to increasingly perceive that my personality is my exclusive and eternal possession to develop and express as I wish.

Help me to remember that, as long as I show sincere and helpful interest in others, my personality becomes more magnetic and attractive.

Grant, therefore, Beloved Father, that I may have the determination to think, every day, of the fullest expression of my personality – in mind and in deeds – so as to overcome all feelings of fear, inferiority, embarrassment, and aversion to any person or thing.

To the extent that I can do this, Beloved Father, I know that I will express Your spirit and Your plan for me, through this evolving personality of mine.
